True Repentance

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. ( Pslm. 51:10) David asked God to create a clean heart and a right, persevering, steadfast spirit in him. This is an example of true repentance and a great example of recognizing that something in him needed to change. Many times we repent, but do we recognize that something in us may also need to change. As children of God, we need to realize that God has given us, the believer, power to overcome sin and not to give in to it.

I was awakened by the Spirit this morning with a very vivid warning to the body of Christ. I was invited to a meeting that was taking place at a certain location. It was crowded with people; much like a small church building waiting for service to begin with standing room only. People were excited and very anxious to be there. As I walked in, I noticed darkness over the place like something was wrong with the power or the light switches had not been turned on.  As I was searching for a light switch I came across a certain room that was completely dark.
